CCHS FBLA Earns National Recognition at FBLA National Leadership Conference

Chavez Collegiate High School is proud to celebrate the accomplishments of FBLA member Matthew Serna and the entire CCHS FBLA chapter at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference held in San Antonio, Texas on June 29-July 2, 2026.

Matthew qualified to compete at the national conference after earning 3rd place in Computer Problem Solving at the California State Leadership Conference, advancing him to represent California and CCHS on the national stage.

While competing at nationals, Matthew also challenged himself academically by taking the A.S.K. Business Institute Fundamentals of Ethics Exam. He passed the exam with High Achievement and earned a Certificate of Advanced Learning, demonstrating his commitment to ethical leadership and professional excellence.

In addition to Matthew’s success, the CCHS FBLA Chapter was recognized for its outstanding chapter engagement and achievement, earning the Champion Chapter Silver Level Banner.

“We are incredibly proud of Matthew and all of our FBLA members for representing CCHS with excellence,” said Ms. Dao chapter advisor. “Their dedication, leadership, and pursuit of lifelong learning continue to make our school community proud.”
